January

January signifies the beginning. The beginning of a New Year. The beginning of new resolutions. The beginning of reflection. It is often a time when people set new goals and reflect on the year past.

This blog is no different. January is my reflection month. It’s my time to look back and remember the challenges I set, the challenges I completed (or in my case, didn’t complete), and the memories that went along with meeting those challenges.

I am not one to set New Year’s resolutions. l don’t see a point in them. Everyday should be about being the best you. Everyday, there should be a new goal to meet, a challenge to complete, an accomplishment to be made, and memories created with those around you. It is important to realize that not meeting that goal is okay. You just have to try again, and again, and again until you meet your expectation.

So let’s get to reflecting on past challenges, creating new ones, and being the best you possible!

It’s a wise man who understands that every day is a new beginning, because boy, how many mistakes do you make in a day? I don’t know about you, but I make plenty. You can’t turn the clock back, so you have to look ahead. ~ Mel Gibson
